How to Know God!

According to Genesis 6 (OT), Noah lived in a time of terrible wickedness, yet he kept himself from all the evil around him. He must have known the Lord in a close, personal way, for he was called a man who "walked with God." When we speak of knowing the Lord, we have in mind much more than simply learning some facts about deity. We are referring to a lifetime dedicated to becoming more and more familiar with God's glory and attributes.

KNOWING GOD takes time. First we must receive Jesus Christ as Savior, and then we must learn all we can about Him through studying God's Word and fellowshipping with Him each day. Getting acquainted with God means talking with Him in prayer, trusting Him, obeying Him, and receiving daily His gracious provision. That's what it takes to know God the way Noah did!(DB)

KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES IS ONE THING, KNOWING THE AUTHOR IS ANOTHER!
