Christians often learn more in times of darkness and trial than in the pleasant sunlight of prosperity. God may visit us shrouded in a thick, impenetrable cloud when He has something very important to teach us; yet we will never enjoy the treasures of His grace unless we master the lessons He brings us in those gloomy days of distress. Even when we feel the loneliest and most forsaken, GOD IS NEAR. Let's approach our difficulties without flinching, for beyond the blackness of our most severe trial God's special blessing awaits us.
God cometh in that cloud!(Exodus 19:9) For beyond each cloud of trial is the rainbow of God's grace.(DB)
